SMS Terms & Messaging Disclosure
This page describes the Dropsy Returns SMS messaging program, what messages you should expect, how to opt in, and how to opt out. It supplements (and does not replace) Section 8 of our Terms and Conditions.

Message Types You Will Receive
By using the Service, you agree to receive transactional SMS or WhatsApp messages from Dropsy related to your return activity, including:
- Onboarding — confirmations of your name and unit registration
- Return submission — confirmation that we received your return QR code, the bag number assigned to your return, and where to drop the item in your building
- Pickup notifications — when Dropsy staff have collected your return from the package room
- Shipment confirmation — when your return has been handed off to the carrier (UPS, USPS, etc.)
- Customer support — replies to your STATUS, HELP, UPDATE, or other commands, and direct messages from Dropsy staff resolving questions about your return
- Service notices — occasional operational messages from your building's Dropsy contact (e.g., schedule changes, service interruptions)
Dropsy does not send marketing or promotional messages and does not share your phone number with advertisers.
How to Opt In
You opt in to the Dropsy Returns SMS Service by sending any text message to the Dropsy service number from your mobile phone. Dropsy will reply with an onboarding message asking for your name and unit number. By continuing the onboarding flow and using the Service, you consent to receive the message types listed above.
Tenants typically learn about the Service number through one of the following channels provided by their building's property management:
- Move-in materials, welcome packets, or building notices that introduce Dropsy
- Posters or flyers in the package room or common areas
- Resident emails or property-management portal announcements
- Word-of-mouth from other residents
Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase or of your residency. Dropsy is an optional return-pickup service offered to residents of participating buildings.
How to Opt Out — STOP
You may opt out of the Dropsy Returns SMS Service at any time by texting STOP to the Dropsy service number. After we receive your STOP message, we will send one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will not send further messages.

Supported Carriers
The Dropsy Returns SMS Service is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and Virgin Mobile. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Dropsy will not share your phone number, message content, or return data with any third party except service providers required to operate the Service (Twilio for message delivery, Anthropic for AI-assisted message processing, AWS for storage). Changes to This Disclosure
Dropsy may update this disclosure from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will reflect the date of the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated via SMS to active users.
