Dropsy Returns is an opt-in SMS service for residents of participating apartment communities. Tenants text their building's Dropsy number to register, then text a photo of their return QR code or prepaid return label plus a photo of the item to schedule pickup.
By texting in, you consent to receive recurring transactional SMS messages from Dropsy about your package returns — registration confirmation, drop code assignment, item photo reminders, pickup notifications, and shipping confirmations.
Message frequency varies based on your return activity. A typical return generates 3–8 messages from QR submission through shipment confirmation. Tenants with no active returns receive no messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your wireless carrier; Dropsy does not charge you for messages.
Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

What you'll receive
- 1Onboarding — confirmation of your name and unit registration.
- 2Return submission — confirmation we received your QR code or return label and item photo, your assigned drop code, and where to drop the item.
- 3Pickup notifications — when Dropsy staff have collected your return from the package room.
- 4Shipment confirmation — when your return has been handed off to the carrier.
- 5Customer support replies — responses to STATUS, HELP, UPDATE, or direct staff messages about your return.

Where you'll see the Dropsy number
Residents of participating buildings are typically introduced to Dropsy through:
- Move-in materials and welcome packets from property management
- Posters and flyers in the building's package room or common areas
- Resident emails or property-management portal announcements
Each of these channels presents the Dropsy number alongside the same opt-in disclosures shown on this page.
Opting out
You can opt out at any time by texting STOP to the Dropsy number. We will send one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, then stop messaging you. To resume the Service later, text the Dropsy number again.
